To celebrate National Library Week, April 7-13, at Steele Memorial Library, we are offering a chance to win a Family Movie Night Gift Basket. With every check out this week, patrons can enter for a chance to win this basket filled with great film prizes, including a gift card to Regal Cinemas, candy, popcorn, and 2 special feature films….a great chance to win an evening of film themed fun that the whole family will enjoy. National Library Week is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and library workers and to promote library use and support. From free access to books and online resources for families to library business centers that help support entrepreneurship and retraining, libraries offer opportunity to all. The theme for 2019 National Library Week is “Libraries = Strong Communities,” and Gates Foundation Co-founder Melinda Gates will serve as 2019 National Library Week Honorary Chair.
