Do you have the winter blues? Do the subzero wind chills have you dreaming of the beach? Join us at the Horseheads Free Library on Tuesday, February 19 for our first ever winter beach bash. We invite everyone to dress in your summer attire and leave the bulky sweaters at home. The children’s area will be transformed into an oasis. Everyone that attends will be given a Hawaiian lei. Test your skills in the hula hoop and the limbo contests. Enjoy your favorite summer snacks: chips and salsa, fruit, popsicles, and lemonade. Listen to the Beach Boys as you work on a beachy craft. There will be a beach scene backdrop for pictures as well. Invite all your friends and get away from the cold – Tuesday, February 19 at 6:30pm.
