While on vacation, a staff member visited the local library (yes, library workers never get enough of libraries, we even visit them when we are out of town!).
She was perusing and appreciating the library flyers, announcements, and notices, when she came upon a neat book-related magazine, free of charge. Keeping her own library in mind, she brought it back with her to share, and for us at the Steele Library to consider offering it here.
Well, the staff really liked the magazine, and we decided to provide it to our Steele patrons. It is called Book Page, and it is full of the newest releases – anything from Adult Fiction and Non Fiction, to Cookbooks, Romance, Christian Fiction, Mysteries, Audio Books, Teen selections and Children’s new releases. It also features author interviews.
Collected in this tidy little take-away are some really good suggestions. It highlights interesting subjects, different avenues of reading to pursue, and at the same time brings to you what’s up and coming in the literary world. A new issue available at the beginning of each month, it’s a fresh little gem, free for the taking!
