What: Teens meet regularly with Steele Library teen services staff to brainstorm, plan, and create library teen events, displays, and ideas for social media content. Teens take the lead in making their ideas happen. TAG members sometimes help with library events in the community. We also eat snacks and laugh our heads off.
Who: All teens 12-18 are welcome at TAG meetings.
When: We meet twice a month on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from 5pm-6pm in the Teen Space on the 2nd floor of the Steele Library. At times, we meet weekly when we are planning a large event such as a dance or lock-in.
Where: Teen Space on the 2nd floor of the Steele Library from 5pm-6pm.
What’s in it for YOU: Volunteer hours look great on job and college applications! Make new friends and experience planning and making fun events happen! Develop leadership and cooperation skills! Have FUN!
Expectations: Show up, participate, do what you say you will, be respectful of each other, always let the teen librarian know if you can’t make a meeting.
