Meet Joe Caramagna at Steele Pop Expo!
Joe Caramagna is a writer and Harvey and Eisner Award-nominated comic book and graphic novel creator who loves his wife and three children, hockey, and donuts (not always in that order). His most notable works are: Disney’s Frozen, Disney’s DuckTales, Marvel Universe Ultimate Spider-Man, Marvel Universe Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel Universe Avengers, and more!

Face Painting & Glitter Tattoos
Jennifer Sekella of Painted Love Face & Body Painting will be doing face painting and glitter tattoos from 11 AM – 4 PM!
Cosplay Contests for All Ages
Cosplay Contest Registration Form (PDF)
12 pm – Kids (birth-6th grade)

Registration to compete in the Cosplay Contest must be submitted by April 19th. Forms can be picked up and dropped off at any CCLD library from April 5-19th. Forms can also be downloaded and emailed to SteelePopExpo@gmail.com by April 19th. Be sure to read the Cosplay Prop Rules (PDF), before planning your costume.
Report to the Cosplay Contest table at Steele Pop Expo on April 22 to pick up your number and check in. Please be at the stage, ready to line up, 15 minutes before your contest. You must check in at least 15 minutes before your contest starts (or be disqualified).
We will have 3 winners for each contest with “Best of” Categories.
- Kids: Best Movie Character, Best TV Show Character, Best Cartoon Character
- Teens: Best Construction, Best in Character, Judge’s Pick
- Adults: Best Construction, Best in Character, Judge’s Pick
All winners will receive a certificate and other prizes. Want to show off your costume but don’t want to enter? Did you miss the sign up time but still want to show your amazing cosplay? Wait by the stage to walk in our costume parade, after the contest for your age group!
