Adults! Have you ever made a new year’s resolution to cultivate your artistic self, but didn’t follow through because you were unsure of where to begin? Well, this year, the Horseheads Free Library is offering a series of art workshops every month to guide you through your inner journey! Learn about drawing, painting and color! Learn book arts, work with clay, and explore printmaking! Don’t worry about having any art experience, just come and enjoy being creative and learn in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
Our classes are taught and led by artist Wynn Yarrow. Wynn works in gouache (opaque watercolor) and matte acrylic mixed with a medium prepared by hand. Trained in architecture, Wynn worked briefly in the design professions and then pursued fine art as a lifelong career. All supplies will be provided. The art series is open to adults and teens 16 and older. Participation in the entire series is not required; you may sign up for as many or as few classes as you like! Let this be the year you embrace your creative self and explore your inner landscape!
Registration is required; space is limited. Call 739-4581 to register or for more information.
