LawHelpNY.org is a website that is designed to teach low-income New Yorkers about their rights, help them find free legal assistance, and help them prepare for court. Ultimately, their goal is to use technology to create access to justice. LawHelpNY.org is a collaborative effort of free legal service providers throughout the state. There is no fee for the information or services on their site.
On the Consumer Self-Help Tools portal you can access do-it-yourself forms, find information on debt collection, student loans, credit card fraud and connect with legal services in your area.
