For over 20 years, residents in West Elmira have met at the library for their weekly bridge games on Mondays and Fridays. The players say they really enjoy having a friendly, comfortable atmosphere to play and socialize in. They come early to use the public computers and copier, and to sit and work at the jigsaw puzzle station. One player mentioned that they always feel very welcome at the library and love getting a cup of hot coffee from our coffee station to sip on while they play. Once reaching a peak of 7 tables, the bridge club now has 2-3 regular tables of players and is always looking for new members.
